Looking For a Little Advice
Hey guys just looking for some ideas from some fellow golf nuts. Me and the wife want to stay and play somewhere for a weekend fairly close to ottawa, just as long as it's out of the city. Not looking to go much further than an hour or hour and a half. So i'm just wondering if anyone has any good ideas. I know that there's the Marshes, Heritage and Mont Tremblant but they are a bit pricey. So if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate the input!

Calabogie or Montebello came to mind for stay and play. Montebello being a little more expensive.

Look at the royal Laurentian. Laurentian course not too far from tremblant with accomodations on site (chalets). Or look in montreal area in this forum for more info. Never stayed but have played my personal fav in laurentians.http://www.golfroyallaurentien.com/

Héritage is very reasonably priced for stay and play, I noticed you put it in the expensive catagory but really it is pretty good. I guess its all subjective.

Upper Canada has a Stay N Play link on their site. it also indicates that they are not opening until at least April 30th.

I'd have to say that Le Maitre in Mont Tremblant is a very nice place to go. Some people are going to say this is a CL course, but if book through one of the local hotels, you can get some VERY GOOD deals to play there as well as Le Diable.
Courses are imaculate and VERY nice views.....Just watch out for Conrad Black's helicopter.
