Mosquitoes
The mosquitoes yesterday at The Meadows were relentless. I was literally eaten alive! I'm hearing similar stories from my friends at other courses. Bring mosquito repellent wherever you go!

i noticed last night when i was out around 7 around the house that they were really bad. I live 5 min from the meadows.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I noticed the same when I was playing at my course. Mosquitos are horrible and I would also suggest a good repellant wherever you go given the wet spring we have had.

Just got back from the Meadows , and it's the worst I've ever seen for Mozzies , had to douse ourselves in Deet several times .
They just appeared in huge numbers yesterday , they can all right off !At the end of the day ... It gets dark

My buddy lives South Gloucester, and he said that he's never seen them so bad.
They're also bad in Manotick. I played last Saturday, and there were ZERO mosquitos. Then I was at the course yesterday, and there were LOTS of them.
It's almost as though they appeared instantly!

I use off deep woods and it works great
You only get out of something what you put into it

Deep Woods Off, the blue can, not the wimpy green can, and you should be good to go.
I've had all the kids I'm ever going to have so I'm not worried about the genetic mutations that 30% DEET will cause. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Greyhawk was equally bad, no pre shot routines just aim and fire.

Was at Hammond today and they were thick - like everywhere else. I attract them like a magnet but with 25% Deet today, I never got bit.
