    Question Callaway X-22 Shaft

After many moons of internal debating I finally took the plunge and put my Callaway X-22 3 iron into my shaft puller in the vise. Turned on the propane and pulled the Uniflex shaft out of the head and to my total shock and dismay the shaft came out in one piece with absolutely no slots cut into the tip. I was so in shock I grabbed the head in disbelief and peered down the hosel, and yes burned my index finger and thumb in the process. I am dumbfounded, I have been told for years these were bore thru or semi-bore thru. Nope, they are normal .370 tip shafts with no shaft tip slots. I had just bought today a set of Rifle 6.0 FCM to go in the X-22 heads and was going to use a dremel like tool to cut the slots and was debating how I would do this exactly.
I am so very happy that I can assemble them without cutting the tip slots. Still in shock though.
Yes, before you ask these are legit Callaway X-22 irons bought from Golf Town by me and they came in a real Callaway box with serial number and were brand new when purchased.

The heads do have a small port with a very small hole inside it in the heel where the bore thru would be, but it's all for show.
    Still shocked.
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

I had also picked up the proper ferrules for these heads and the bore through shaft pins. BUt the shaft pins are the wrong size and will be returned tomorrow.
    Obviously you're not a golfer.
