U.S. Open won't make players rough it at Pinehurst
Do you get twisted pleasure from watching the best golfers in the world being forced to chop the ball out of the rough at the U.S. Open?

For what it's worth, I can't wait for this tournament. I remember Payne doing his famous fist pump like it was yesterday. The greens at this course is where the real challenge is.

The real challenge with the greens is hitting and holding them and what happens when you miss.
The greens themselves aren't particularly undulating or fast, but they are small and they are all raised. I guarantee you we will see several shots of pros trying to chip/pitch on and the ball not getting far enough onto the green and coming back to their feet.Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!
