Not sure if such a long rest is a good thing. Yes injuries are taken care of but you don't practice like you play especially against your teammates and you usre don't push yourself as much

I think a good rest will do those boys some good before the war with the Booooons starts. Leadership on this team is top notch I'm not worried, not saying they will beat Boston but they will be ready.

3 goals in 6 minutes in the 3rd period put out that fire pretty quick.

Most teams weren't playing against second and third string goaltenders .

Boston, Dallas, New York and Colorado did and 2 of these teams didn't move on.

Price lost his 2 labs last nite, but a fine fan found em! Rumour has it Marchand was seen running near the backyard gate.

    Anything goes in the playoffs!

I'm sure there are some good seats available at Rideauview if you want to cheer on your Sens.

I don't get it? I thought Rideauview was a pretty tough test, no?

But I guess not, because I can't remember the last time the Sens showed up for a tough test.

Oh well, at least Ottawa has the best D-man in....

wait, what? minus what? oh... okay, well... nothing to see here...

Go Habs Go (for the rest of this season anyway)!!!!

Wow - didn't think they'd pull that off. With a Rangers team up next that's lucky to make it this far, it looks like the Habs will be playing for the cup! Still don't like them, but have to tip my hat...

Not a Habs fan but they deserve all the credit thrown their way right now. Bergevin DNA is all over this team, aside from Vanek tweak player trades like Weise and Weaver are paying off. Picking up Briere was a smart move last off season based on his playoff PPG , he is earning his 4 mil by helping the team advance. The nice thing about this squad is they play for each other , they have bonded as a team.

All they wanted was respect. I think they have it now. Last series shows that speed can beat size, especially in Game 7.

But can speed and Price beat any of the remaining Western teams, which has speed, goaltending, and size?

Not sure but when a goaltender is playing at Price' level currently, anything is possible. Vigneault is a member at HP and can be seen around the club quite often during the summer, will be interesting regardless of outcome.
