Just drove by Riverbend and the entire course looks like it is under 3 feet of water....the Jock River winds its way through it

I suspect most of the courses will be either under water, wet, or will have lots of mud patches....not a fun game of golf....think I will wait another week to see if the courses drain and dry out

Arnprior has a *** going.....$75 for two with cart and 2 large buckets of balls

I suspect all the courses will be using ***s et al en masse if the courses do not dry out in the next week or two.

No carts yet. Soon though. Probably a week.

Mapleview has 18 holes open with carts. It was cart path only today but may allow carts on the fairways tomorrow with a few exceptions. The course is in great shape with very few wet spots.
Rates; 9 holes walking $20, $25 with cart. 18 holes walking $25, $30 with cart.
We will even have a beverage cart out on the course!

I may be a little biased but it wintered well. The fairways are cut and were treated last fall and came out great. The greens were airified in the fall but they have been cut and double rolled and are very healthy. And rather quick for the first week open. Need some warm weather. Carts are allowed out as of Sunday April 20th. The 3rd green was rebuilt last fall and isn't open yet but will be soon. Overall the conditions for this time of year is fantastic.

Not much ever really happens at Bearbrook which is a shame..

I am hearing May 2nd if weather co-operates.Hopefully they have hired someone that can look after the greens this year.
