Question. Why are so many guys so brand loyal, I have a very mixed bag and don't change very much because of the level of comfort with most of my clubs, is it a consistency/feel thing from using the same brand across the board or is it more for aesthetics.

My bag:

K15 10.5 with some Aldila X stiff shaft
Burner 3 wd stock stiff shaft
MP67 irons with Rifle Satin Shafts
Vokey 52-56-60
Ping B60 Putter

I have had luck with TM products in the past so i have a number of those in the bag. That being said I'd put anything in my bag if it worked.

For me personally, it comes down to the fact I'm young, and Nike is what I know.
Being 24 and growing up playing football as my main (and highest level) sport, Nike was the leader in equipment (and later Under Armour came along).

So when I started golfing 3 years ago, of the major brands Nike is what I knew so I just naturally gravitated towards Nike. With that being said I understand other brands like Ping, Callaway, Titleist, TaylorMade, Cobra, Cleveland etc all make great equipment, so what it really comes down to is personal preference/feel/confidence etc.
In fact, I was debating between the VR Pro Blades and 588 blades from Cleveland, the reason I got the VR Pro Blades was because I found them for 300 with less than 10 rounds on them.

Then with the wedges the 588 Forged Chrome were my first choice, however Golf Town couldn't order them for me so I went looking around the store and found the VR Pro Forged on clearance for $70 each.
