    Happy Gilmore ruling, moving ball?

Something funny for sunday My son has learned to make Happy Gilmore shot to get the ball little bit longer. Now in second shot ball lies on top of tight rough and he decides to use Happy shot with driver. Here is video of that shot (video made 1.3. 2014 in Finland, NO SNOW!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKvd40HmB_w Now when makes those "cross steps" ball moves little bit. Does he get some penalties? (Rules 18-2 a,b) or something else?

I couldn't see it move but it wasn't in play until he hit it. If it was only oscillating when he hit it, it wasn't moving (as defined) so there is no breach of any rule.

    Decisions 14-5/1 & 2 will help.

I didn't watch the video, but I thought the original post said it was his second shot, which would indicate the ball was in play?

Yes, that video was only demonstration of that Happy shot.

In that case ignore the first sentence of my post and the reference to 11-3.

Rule 18-2a(i) states that if you cause the ball to move you incur a penalty of 1 stroke.
