La Bete and La Belle?
Booking a weekend trip to La Bete and La Belle at Gray Rocks and thought I would see what the peanut gallery thinks of these to courses, so? Playing La Bete Saturday morning La Belle Saturday afternoon and again Sunday morning, should be sweet!
Thanks

I think Le Bete is the stronger course, Le Belle is a bit older and has a few strange holes. Both are still good from what I remember a couple of years ago.
It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

La Bete is a beautiful course with some fantastic scenery and challenging holes. Wait until you see the 2nd hole, a blind tee shot with a multi tiered fairway. La Belle is easier and a little less scenic. It has a couple of really dangerous holes (fairways crossing each other) so keep an eye out for people teeing off on another hole as you head to your next shot, there are signs telling you to keep a look out on the most dangerous holes. Nice courses though.
Go to http://tremblant.com/whattoseedo/gol...te/index-f.htm
and click on 'livre de longueur' to get a nice course layout and yardages for la bete.

I played both last year and was very disappointed. To many blind shots on La Bęte and La Belle is very “ordinary”. The price is to high for what you get.
La Bęte must be played twice to enjoy.
My 2 cents!!Strive for perfection, but never expect it!

Thoughts on Tremblant Area Golf
To agree with the other posters, Le Bete is an experience, however you must get a course guide to enjoy it. Last year they ran out!
La Belle is old and not as good as the other options up @ Tremblant. I would rank the courses up there as follows:
1. Maitre
2. Diable
3. Bete
4. Geant
5. Manitou ( short course)
6. La Belle
There are also some other older no resort course up @ Tremblant that deserve consideration.

I agree with Colby... Le Bete is the stronger course. Much more scenic. But you should play both so that you get a good appreciation. Then try Diable...really pretty.
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

I have never played La Belle, however I have played La Bete several times and it's beautiful. Lot's of up's and down's.
