Removing bulges and rises on projection screen

I was told to use a hair dryer on medium setting to remove the straight lines on the projection screen. What is the best way to make the screen nice and flat so the image doesn't roll on bumps and distorts the image. I was thinking of cord or something with a clip..

    Thoughts?

Honestly i just leave mine assembled. The wrinkles go away over time of it hanging.

Tension is the best way to remove (and add) bumps and wrinkles in the screen. Without knowing more about your setup, it's difficult to say what will work for you. One effective method has been to create a pocket along the length of the bottom of the screen (sew it up to itself or attach carefully measured loops) and put a pipe (e.g. 10' conduit) through the pocket, which will provide a straightening tension across the whole length of the screen without the distortion of "pull points". It also gives you something to roll it up with, if it's needed, and doesn't hold the screen so tight that impacts can't move it, which helps reduce denting.
