Is anyone else hooked on this series? The acting and storylines are completely incredible, i can't wait to see how it ends!!

It's awesome! You would think the jumping around on the timeline would be hard to follow, but they've done it in such a natural way. Mcconaughey is going to be collecting some hardware for his performance here. Can't wait for Sunday...

I haven't gotten to see it yet , but I've heard it's fantastic .
You should check out "Luther" on Netflix if your looking for a good crime series too

Yep, totally hooked. All the acting is top notch. Between this and Dallas Buyers Club, McConaughey could win both the Oscar and Emmy this year.

I heard that they might extend this series to another season. It's probaly the best show on TV right now. Very addictive.

Bringing A-list Hollywood actors to TV series has worked out pretty great recently. House of Cards with Kevin Spacey is also wicked.

They are definitely extending it however it'll be with new characters.

Update, its confirmed that McConnaughey won't be back but the next season could be looking at the viewpoints from different characters.

Sorry to thread-jack, but Game of Thrones best show on tv imo. I binge-watched the 1st 2 seasons on blu-ray, then watched season 3 as it aired, then binge read ALL THE BOOKS in less than two months. I'm a walking spoiler machine. Can't wait for season 4 in April.

I've read all the books too and love em, series is spectacular too, certainly my two favourite shows on television. I have to give the nod to True Detectives though solely based on the performances, the acting is incredible.

So, my wife went to bed early the other night, and I saw this was on HBO, and I thought, (thinking of this thread) "I'm going to get into this" the episode just started, and it was good, although I was a little lost at first, I thought "oh, this mustn't be the 1st episode of the season... oh well, it is good..." an hour later, I think I watched the season finale. Ended with the 2 p.i.'s looking at the stars? I'm an idiot.

I was a bit disappointed with the ending. The show was middle stacked I felt. By episode 5 I was craving the next one. The last 2 episodes were kind of standard issue, no real shocker. Still a great season though.

Yeah i have to agree with that, i was hoping for a little something else too in th end.
