Replace HD in Nextbox 2.0?
I'm looking to replace the hard drive in my Nextbox 2.0 with a larger one. There's an old discussion on digitalhome that talks about the procedure but it hasn't been active for some time, and there are mixed messages on which hard drives will work.
Does anyone have recent experience with this that would know the make/model of a hard drive that i can replace? I'm looking anywhere from 500GB -1TB in size.

I've used the eSATA port to add space before. The first drive I used was a 750GB Seagate 7200.10 drive, no issues. It died recently and I replaced with an old 320GB Seagate drive (7200.8 I think), again no issues.
As I mentioned, these were both via the eSATA port, but I would suspect that if the external drive is recognized, then there'd be no issue using it for the internal drive. That being said, both of those drives are long since discontinued, and there's nothing saying that newer Seagate drives would be compatible.
There's another thread on digitalhome, and I just scrolled through quickly and saw WD Black drives mentioned a couple times. Solid drives, but a little pricier than the average.Let's put a Smile on that Face!
