Projector/screen vs TV and hitting net

What are the thoughts of pros and cons of having a setup with projector/screen or a 50" TV with computer and hit into a net? Figure cost but you can use TV for other things?

I would definitely suggest an impact screen and projector setup. I have the impact screen/projector as well a a 46 inch TV wall mounted on the side for added visual. Cool when guests see the projection and the LCD display of a shot. So you can get both.

With a screen it really looks like your ball is travelling in the direction you hit it so you can follow your shot. Not so with a tv.

The screen is much better for the sim experience. I use my screen as a tv/movie screen as well. Will shorten the life of the screen since you want better quality screen and hitting balls into it is counter-productive in that regard (so you might replace it more often), but if you don't expect a perfect screen then it's fine. My kids are perfectly happy with using the screen when their friends are over and we use it for the big games.

I am sold! It will not be like the Golf Channel (no Holly S either!) but should be fun with the screen and projector.
