Computer and touch screen advise
Finally I've decided to pull the trigger on a ProTee system, in the end the righty lefty issue for general play weighed heavily into the decision, plus I figure I can always add a launch monitor at a later date, when and if they ever become more affordable.
Any hoo... does anyone have any suggestions regarding a computer and touch screen? Hopefully something robust enough to run E6 II when and if it eventually comes along.
Thank you in advance for your comments and advise.

Look at the Protee website. It has minimun specs.
Get faster video card and cpu to the extent you can afford.

Out of curiosity, did you read the thread that just started a few days ago on this exact subject?

Have read it. Do research if you go down laptop path re heat and speed. They are top end gaming laptops so $$$$$

If your room space works and it is a dedicated unit and doesn't need portability, I'd go with the desktop. Way cheaper for equivalent performance. Note that you should be looking at gaming computers, not the average computer you'd pick up at Bestbuy. High end dedicated graphics cards (not shared cards), etc. To get a feel for it, look at the Dell Alienware desktops. Maybe the second from bottom unit or something. Then go price the equivalent at an online site (you pay a big premium for Dell - good machines but paying for the brand) - e.g. checkout cyperpowerpc.com. I'm sure plenty of others. That site allows you to select every component (from the fans, up)- you start with a basic configuration and then have customization options. Very nice. My son got a gaming computer from there and has been very happy. I did buy a Dell during a big sale a few years ago (Black Friday) - very happy with it, but I'm pretty sure my son go the better bang for the buck with his.
The nice thing with the desktops is they are so easy to upgrade components over time if something gets out dated.

Gotta go gaming desktop. The price vs performance tops a gaming laptop by far.
