With this new multimedia deal between the NHL and Rogers will we be listening the Sportsnet 1310 for the Sens Games??? This is a huge change for our local radio stations. 1310 now have the Blue Jays and the NHL, what's left for TSN 1200…67's and the Ottawa Fury

I don't really know how the CRTC can allow this deal in the first place to be honest. When Bell tried to monopolize the industry previously, the CRTC stepped in and put a stop to it.

It is all over the news… TSN 1200 is not going to broadcast next season's Sens games!!! At least that is what I understand. No more Dean Brown, or Gord Wilson , Dave the Voice, etc, and more etc….. Holy Cow what a local shake-up!!! Am I understanding this correctly????

Team 1200 won't be doing it, but who is to say 1310 won't hire the Team 1200 staff?

The deal announced yesterday is a multi media agreement dealing with national rights.

Local and regional broadcast deals like our radio contract are still under the control of local hockey teams like the Ottawa Senators.
