    Bending Lie on Belly Putter

I have a belly putter that has been converted into one that rests against your forearm. It currently has the stock scotty lie of 71* but I would like to bend it down a good 2/3* if possible. There is no hosel so the bend would have be in the shaft. Just looking for the best place to get this done reliably?

Really? I mean the manufacturer must just bend the shaft when making the club to bring it to spec. Maybe I can send it back to titleist or something. Just came from the custom shop but there is no way I'm going to send it all the way to cali for the sake of a lie adjustment.

You could use a shaft bending block and bend the shaft a bit. But at most 2 degrees. I have a shaft bending block. You're more than welcome to borrow it. Otherwise you may have to change the shaft.
    See this: http://books.google.ca/books?id=0raU...0block&f=false

And also there are a bunch of threads where some have tried to do it themselves`:

FWIW: For the putter to maintain conformity, any bend in the shaft must be not more than 5" above the sole/bottom of the club.

If the shaft is kinked, you also lose conformity.

That's what my worry would be, it could kink so easily.

I have had some success with an adapter that is epoxied into the head and the shaft is then epoxied in to the adapter.

You then bend the adapter, not the shaft.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I guess my thoughts are that if I asked for it 2* flat from the standard that it's at the guys at titleist would be doing the same thing no? I doubt they would say they couldn't do it. I know there is a special bar with 2 wheels on it that you can get to bend shafts.

Maybe I'll ask the guys at GT and see if they can send it to Titleist and have them do it... Just doesn't seem like an outlandish request, there must be people that when getting fit have adjustments to be made.

To be on the safe side send it to the manufacturer. This way if they break it then they will have to replace it. But for argument's sake see below:

it's made from a very rare metal, found only in the dark jungles of Madagascar, which Scotty personally mines himself, then forges together with his own blood and sweat.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Golftown sells it also and they also sell the putter bending machine
    http://www.golftown.com/Putter-Bendi...ine-P6588.aspx

With this jig you can use either your hands or the bar:
    http://www.golfsmith.com/pdf/pp_copy...nformation.pdf

To bend the shaft pull or push the grip the necessary direction. Or place the Putter Bending Bar (293226) on the upper bend and apply pressure.
