Have you hit a RIP Beta 70x? If so, how do they compare?

I found all of the RIP shafts to have a very dead feeling, this shaft is a little more responsive in the butt section than i like, i prefer something that feels really stout. In my opinion the two of them aren't even in the same realm feel, dispersion wise.

Was more curious for stiffness. I currently have a Beta 70x and its probably at my limit.

This thing definitely doesn't feel stout to me compared to all of the other 70x shafts i've played, DI, Whiteboard, Blueboard, Accras and so on. It's alot softer in the butt section which i find makes the shaft feel alot smoother. I found the Beta 70x played like a 2x4.

I've found that swinging the Oban requires a bit smoother transition from the top, as opposed to a quick top-loading move. It's a wonderful feeling shaft. Very responsive.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

Hmmm...70 is a bit heavier than I like or I may have jumped on this. Is this the TM version or the actual Oban shaft?

Actual Oban, not TP graphics. Completely slick.

Damn! So tempting. If this were a month earlier I could probably justify the experiment.

No worries i completely understand. I didn't think it would sell on here, going to put it up on WRX tonight and hopefully trade it on something else.
