impact screen repair ?

Hey guys , my impact net from wesrcoast netting has just torn about 10inches from a grommet hole ! Its my fault as I didnt bungee that location and just ty wrapped it so there was no play
Anyway, its made out of thick 100% polyester. Does anyone know the best way to repair, stitch, patch it ?

So I went to a leather shop and they bonded and stitched a piece of white leather on both sides of my screen. You can definitely see it but you hardly notice it as the white leather reclects the screen quite well and so far after a couple of hundred balls its holding up well.

Unfortunately, during my enthusiastic room preparation, black spray paint drifted over onto my screen. Anyone know how I might get it off? Alternatively, who would I take it to to get an industrial clean? Any suggestions appreciated...
