Do you meant the 9th tee?
There will never be a range again at Stonebridge. There is no space to put one with the current routing. And even if they did reraoute to create some space they would just add houses.
Think of it, sell 10 houses at $300k PROFIT each, assuming a small range holds 10 houses, or make a tiny profit every year from driving range revenue. Easy choice.

I did notice today on the way home, Stonebridge removed all the snow from the greens.... Good sign.......

I'm surprised at the poll results - thought it would be closer. I like eQuinelle because of the pristine shape they keep it in, but it just feels like a resort course - massive fairways, not a whole lot of imagination to the design. Based purely on layout, I have to give this one to Stonebridge.

I hear you Jeff--but would SB force you to become a better driver ?
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

SB is so much easier than equinelle! I am probably 6 shots better because of the shorter yardage

IMO course conditions at EQ are better than Stonebridge, and I find EQ easier to play than SB, I would take EQ over SB anyday

Sb vs eq
They present different challenges - SB greens have more slope so you need to be on the right side and is tough on windy days since its so open
I don't think distance matters too much to do well in these courses - placement is more important I think - the greens can get very fast in Eq though - its tough to adjust sometimes
All in all If I played these 2 courses all the time - I'd be a very happy and good golferGo Sens Go or No Sens No? The struggle of a Sens fan.

I am a hacker. At Stonebridge I use all my clubs (and a ball retriever if I had one); at Equinelle, my short irons don't get any action.

eQuinelle is the "nicer" track IMO
Always fantastic condition , and it's a Driver off the tee almost every hole (par4 & 5)
Definitely more forgiving in that respect
Stonebridge is a more challenging track , comparable conditions most of the time , definitely requires a greater array of shots not quite as straight forward off the tee .
It's a pleasure to play both tracks any given day !

I love both of them and I've definitely shot my lower numbers personally at EQ.

I believe my best is 79 at EQ (blues) and 81 at SB (blues). I play both often from the blues and there is a 600 yard difference between the two. SB from the tips would be a beast.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I think even from the tips it's only 6400 yards, blues are 5900 I think.

Personally I love them both--it is the old adage "you get what you pay for" No slow play this year---GREEN grass--easy walking and friendly staff Playing them both alternately keeps you on your toes
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

Equinelle easily
There is no driving range at Stonebridge, sorry hitting off mats into a nets provides no feedback on what you have that day, but they have a good short game area...

Played EQ from the tips last week, its 7-7100 but plays shorter with all the dog legs if you have decent carry from the tee. Long holes play very long and short seem to play really short. Conditioning is perfect. Golf boards give it the edge.

I'd like to see the results of a different poll...
Which course is tougher? Stonebridge or eQuinelle
I wonder if some people say they prefer one course over another because it is easier.
