Hey, I am new
Hi, I am new to the forums but have been playing golf for about 7 years now.
I have played this summer in New Brunswick at the Restigouche Golf and C & C, and by the end of the summer avg a 3.6 handicap so a 4.
Since I have gotten back in Ottawa, I have golf maybe 4 times since the prices are rediculous if you don't have a membership and from Glen Mar shot 81 and 74 to Greensemere I forget if it was legacy or premiere but I shot a 76 to The Canadian I shot 81.
I am glad to be joining this forum, never really though of joining a golfing forum until now.
I live in the Sttitsville area, and yea nice to meat all of you.

Yes, I saw that but seems to me not worth it at this time of the season. I am still paying 20$+ a round and this 265$. Just paid for college as well, so I am just going to stick to the range for a bit maybe join a tournament or something but that's all I can do. Glen mar disappointed me yesterday as well there is no twilight prices which is a little strange. Might go to the Canadian a couple times during twilight hour 23$ with a cart for one person after 6.
thanks, for the reply and help though really appreciate it

there are lots of deals to be had at twilight around here. Also, look at Reservation Masters Last Minute Club, it's $50 I think and gives you lots of options but you can only book one day in advance.
Oh, and if you think Ottawa is expensive for golf, be thankful you didn't move to Toronto.I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I guess I am glad I am not in Toronto, pretty scared to see things go above what I have to pay here haha. I guess I am just a cheepo since I got an excellent deal on a golf membership in NB. Because my brother works for a company that sponsors some of a the course over there's carts. I only paid 275$ for a full season membership at the restigouche G & C& C... And because my job during the summer was late at night on weekends as a server I would golf 36 holes during the week monday to thurs. So I was golfing so much a so little cost. Now, trying to break my addiction of golfing every hour of every day it tough =( .
Also, thanks for the reservation master last minute club idea, I might have to check that out. Do you know what the avg price for a round from that last minute club is?
Do you know what are all the courses with the rates? as of now I know for a fact the Canadian has the twilight rate.
