Room size 3m x 4m. Is this enough? Equipment ideas
Hi all, Im a long time reader from the uk. Im interested in taking the plunge a fitting a sim in a spare room.
I am limited to 3m x 4m room and wondered if you thought this was enough?
I am considering the Gc2. Is this the best option considering room size?
I would like something like this net return with a projector holder but the cost seems high, do you know an alternative?
http://www.thenetreturn.com/practice...or-series.html
Will this set be ok in my room? What limitations will I have?

All depends on how big you are. Take your driver (with the cover on depending on what you might hit) and swing away. You will be hesitant at first so do it for a little while until you are making your real swing.

I'm 6ft / 1.86m. Ceiling hight is 3.5m so that is ok. I'm interested to hear if any one else has similar sized or seen similar sized set ups.

Optishot says on their website the minimum space requirement for their unit is 10 feet by 10 feet and you are roughly 10 x 13 so I would say you should have enough room as long as your unit is pretty close to the side wall. Depending on how far your screen is away from your back wall you may only be hitting from about 7 feet away from the screen. I don't know if the GC2 has a minimum distance the ball has to travel or if it captures all its data immediately after impact. That is something you may need to check. Otherwise it may be tight but I think you can make it work.

GC2 data captured at impact so it will work just fine.
