<$400 projector with horizontal AND vertical keystone correction?
Hi everyone,
Like the subject says...
Starting to look into setting up a screen and will most likely need to correct both horizontal AND vertical keystoning as the projector will be set up above center and to the left or right of the screen.
thanks,
Andrew

Most will have keystone correction. Suggest you check eBay or kijiji/Craigslist etc.

Hi Bubba -
I've looked, and most do have keystone correction, but it only seems to be vertical. I've downloaded two manuals so far, and they only seem to fix it based on whether the projector is pointing up/down but not in combination with horizontal offset, unless I'm missing something pretty fundamental.
thanks,
Andrew

Keys toning to much can reduce the resolution. is the projector position the only option? Why not get a short throw and place it more central?

Well, primarily in my basement, the ceiling height is slightly over 8.5' (bottom of joists, really) - I don't want to whack the thing... also, I don't have a huge amount of horizontal feet, but could get away with a short throw projector in front of me somewhere and build a shield for it.
I will also be using it upstairs sometimes (high ceilings), but not permanently, so I think being able to use "available space" means I'll not have an absolutely perfect spot to put it - hence, the need for dual-axis keystoning. I could always figure out a way to mount it to the side, I suppose.
[edit] Forgot to mention, obviously, I'd like to avoid casting a shadow.
