Can I install a .355 iron shaft into a .370 hybrid

I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but I'm hoping for some expertise

I've got a set of hybrids with what I believe are .370 diameter tips (what the research has told me on the clubs)....Ideally I would like to have the same shafts I have in my irons installed in my hybrids, even though they are .355 tip size. The same irons do come in .370 parallel shaft but they are much heavier and I would prefer working with as close to the same shaft as possible.

Club makers, is this doable? If so, how? How much extra cost for the install? This is not a project I am willing to take on so I would be looking for a pro to do this. Does it make the tip stiffness or overall stiffness of the club weaker by putting a narrower club tip in? Any help would be great, thanks

Easily done. All it needs is a shim.

Regarding the stiffness, if the insertion depth and bore to ground distance of the hybrids is different than the irons that might have an effect on the feel.

Smaller into larger is always doable. Vice versa, now you have some options, or if you will, issues.
