Embedded Ball on Green - Fixing Mark

I hit my approach shot into a green and my ball imbeds deeply into it, I walk up put my mark behind my ball to pick it up and realize that with my mark there i will not be able to fix my pitch mark correctly without touching it. What is the call?

Just move your mark the same way as if you were moving outnof somebody's putting line.

Then fix the pitch mark and when you are done move the ball mark back.
