Nation - Short but very nice layout and well maintained. Worth money.
Outaouais - Never played it, but I"ve heard good things.
Casselview - I used to like the layout until they modified it. Now I find you are walking up the opposite fairwar too get to the next tee. Fairways are usually hard pan. I won"t play there anymore.
Hammond - Never played it and I never heard much about it.
Meadows - The answer will vary depending on which 9 you are referring too. I find that many of the holes on a couple of nines are lacking some width. They are very very narrow. IMHO, I think they squeezed in too many holes for the size of the property. The original 18 holes are pretty good and worth playing, but unfortunately, you are not able to select the 2 nines you want to play.

Nation - Some good holes and some bad holes.
Outaouais - Old style course worth the price of admission
Casselview - changes were made over the last few years and is usually in good shape
Hammond - been over 20 years since I played it, so i wont comment on it
Meadows - best greens in the city for a public and well used golf course - fairly priced course that is 10 minutes from downtown - IMO it has a wide range of holes (some narrow some not, some long some short, dogleg right dogleg left) makes you use all your clubs throughout the round.
I guess I'm partial to that hole on the north side no. 8 - par 5 with faiway about 20 yrds wide at some points. Jared an 85 yrd 3rd shot for eagleI've spent most of my life golfing .... the rest I've just wasted"

Ah the 8th North at Meadows.... how I love/hate you so......
2 years ago, walked to the 8th North, my 17th (West/North that day) sitting -1 for the day. Hit an easy 3 wood off the tee to the fat part of the fairway. Laid up with a 9 iron or so to 100 yds. Decel'd on the wedge and left it short right (not quite in the bunker). Chunked the chip and 2 putted for bogey!!!
Never liked 9 North much either, but I striped my drive down the left side and hit my approach to about 6 feet on the upper tier. Made the putt to finish -1 for the day, first round under par ever!
Hmm maybe I do like those holes.....
Oh yeah I'm thread jacking here....
Nation -- Nice that it opens early
Outaouais -- great old golf course -- nice greens
Casselview -- opens early, open late (what else can I say?)
Hammond -- Tee it high and let it fly (over the hydro wires.....)
Meadows -- Gotta agree with Steve -- best greens around given the traffic.

As I live in Orleans I play Nation and Casselview quite a bit, nation being the better of the 2. Outaouais is very nice and so is the Meadows alhough it's tournament course and always busy.
My vote
Nation
Outaouais
Casselview
Meadows
Never played the other.Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!

Hammond
For me, this track is a hidden gem. The 16th green is actually built right in middle of a large hill. And the 17th par3, you'll have fun hitting from elevated tee down to a large green. Very forgiving course. I believe the local rules mentioned hitting hydro wires maybe replayed with no penalty.
