Looking for places to stay in Central Ontario

With our new Ottawa Golf Club memberships, my friend and I have decided to take a trip down to Central Ontario this summer to play the member courses. We're planning on leaving on Friday night and playing rounds on Sat-Tue, then coming back Tuesday night. Casino Rama isn't very far from the courses either, so we'll probably make a stop there. We're not too familiar with the area so we wondering if anyone could recommend a cheap place to stay? We're also willing to camp if there isn't anything inexpensive, so recommendations on camp grounds in the area would be appreciated as well.

Seeing as we can only play 4 rounds, of the 5 courses on the list, which ones would you recommend?

    Central Ontario Visit

There are numerous places to stay. The Mariner Motor Hotel in Collingwood
    http://www.marinermotorhotel.com/index.htm
    is inexpensve.
This site lists some other places to stay: http://www.collingwood.biz/accommodation.html

B&B's are an option. The Cedar Chest is fairly reasonable in Collingwood:

For Camping, Craigleith Provincial Park is just outside of Collingwood

If you decide to stay in Collingwood or Wasaga Beach, I would recommend the following 4 courses due to their location:
    Baywood, Marlwood, Duntroon, and Cranberry.

    Hope this helps!
    Enjoy your trip.
    John
