Golf in San Francisco
Well I was out in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago and managed to squeeze one round in at the Half Moon Bay Golf Links - Ocean Course. Played with the assistant pro from the tips and shot a 42-45=87 with one penalty and getting stuck in the ditch on 16.
The course is here:

And I'll post a few pictures. This one is from the putting green looking towards the Old Course 18th greenIt could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

This one is looking down towards the 16th green. The ditch in front of the green is where I ended up for a few shots as I tried to hack my way out...

From the 17th tee box. It's a great par 3.

Colby, you truly are a golf pig
BTW, this is the golf course where they shot part of the "American Wedding" movie, i.e. American Pie 3

I played there earlier this year. Not a bad course, but average IMHO for the money.
If you're out that way again and don't mind driving a little further, chech out Pasatiempo in Santa Cruz. It's an Alistair MacKenzie (sp) design, you know the guy who did Augusta, and is very nice.

Cool, I'm not sure, but it might happen. We went through Santa Cruz, but that's a bit of a haul from San Fran though.
