Airport Range
Hi,
Anyone knows which home development company bought the airport golf range? Their websites would be great. Thanks.

Not sure when, but the land has been sold to a housing developer.

Monarch built Stonebridge so maybe Stonebridge #2 is on the way. How bout Woodbridge? Or AirportBridge. Or The Huntbridge. Or not.
Too bad, closest range to my office, a quick little lunch getaway."Son, when you participate in sporting events, it's not whether you win or lose : it's how drunk you get!" Homer Simpson

It would have to be a pretty small course to fit there unless they bought up some of the adjoining lands.
It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

nice_lag, I see your location is Barrie, you sure know a lot more about my neighbourhood than I do . I was at VaunghMill on Hwy400 last week, so close enough to your neck of woods.
Back to the range, rumours has it will be turned into another sub-division for more homes. They are also clearing the lot of pines tree across from Hunt Club golf course. At this point, I just like to know which builder has got a hold of this section of land. I checked Mornach site and no indications of it.

I now live about 10 minutes away and would love to get there a couple of times a week, but it just didn't seem to be worth it. Was it any better at the end of the year? Do many people here go there from time to time? Maybe I just got unlucky that day.

BTW, I see that Monarch built and owns the Millcroft Golf Club and surrounding housing development in Burlington. Their parent company built and owns several golf clubs and housing developments in Florida, including Mirasol (home of the Honda Classic). An interesting piece of info for those who think Stonebridge will be sold any day now because "Monarch is not in the golf club business".Golf is a game invented by the same people who think music comes out of bagpipes.
It is Monarch (they are owned by Taylor Woodrow):
Thanks for the info el tigre..
Looks like there just enough land for homes contruction. And seem they are strategically being build right across from Hunt Club course.

Thunderbird on Conroy
Last year they got new golf balls at the range on Conroy (they used to be the unbelievably bad). It is only 5 minutes from my house but is still my least favourite range. It is a last resort when time is tight for me.

Target has a lot of new balls this year. And they also have a bunch of $2 off coupons and buy one, get the second for $2 in some of those flyer booklets you get in the mail. They also have a pay for 7, the 8th is free cards....

19th Tee
I find 19th Tee generally has good balls but their buckets shrunk this year.
