    Switching TM adapters

    Got a quick question,

I have a matrix f6m2 shaft that I love, but I'm looking to upgrade from the R11S to the R1. If I buy the R1 adapter from golfsmith, is it relatively easy to remove the R11S tip and install the R1 adapter?
I have a heat gun, epoxy and club vise.

    Thanks

Yes it's fairly easy to do. But just an FYI the R1 ferrule that is on the R1 will melt once heat is applied, for some reason it's a lot softer than the R11s version and does not hold up. But doesn't sound like that will matter as you're purchasing an after-market version.

Thanks for the reply. Ya I'm gonna buy a R1 and R11S adapter from golf works just in case they melt on removal.
