    played yesterday

Greens are in rough shape but the rest of the course is almost in mid summer condition. For 35$, I think its still a great deal. But I'm a little bias since its my favorite course in the region.

If you dont like slow greens, stay away. They have lots of holes in them and the grass is too long. Other than Stone, I've only played Casselview and Anderson this year and both had better greens.

Being a member for 8 years now I find the course in horrible shape, not sure if they are skimping out on stuff, but I find it going a bit downhill from years past in terms of quality. They want to charge $69 + tax for a round, not worth it. I hope Monarch sells the course and somebody puts in a nice range. The lack of a range is another reason other people have not joined the club.

As a former 4 year member, I was shocked to see the conditions as they were today. I have to disagree. The course is in horrific condition.

SB was in amazing shape all last year, even with the drought.

I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

    Agreed.
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

I am still amazed that a course of that quality and price does not have a driving range. It doesn't make sense.
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

Last year yes it was (to a point), but in general the course has not been kept up, no range/warm-up facility, weeds all over the place (I guess they can't afford the 2,4-D) and to bring your guests for $69 + tax, ya right....

I'm not sure you're playing the same course I was but the course was pretty close to immaculate last year. Yes, there is no range (there was but half million dollar houses are worth more than $5 range buckets)

And this is exactly why it would benefit golfers if Monarch didn't own the course..... Hopefully it will be sold in the near future, if not already...

I'm not sure what people are complaining about but I just finished playing Stonebridge and the greens where o.k. Not shaggy, not slow.
They werent pristine but quite good. I would go back before they punch them next week.
