White Sands..I was first out of the gate this morning at 0855. Played 2 balls on each hole and still finished in 75 minutes. Course is dry and greens were slow but in pretty good condition for April and will be in top shape by month's end. I spoke to the greenskeeper as I was finishing up and he told me that he and other staff had spotted what looked like a wolf on the course earlier this morning; said it was way too big to be a coyote. Love this little course.

Played yesterday. Fairways are cut and are nice and green. Very dry, they let carts out yesterday.
Greens were also cut yesterday and will be cut again before the weekend. They started to top dress them too.
a couple of greens have some brown patches (freeze/thaw) but most of them (15) are in great shape and all of them are open, no temps!
They also started raking the bunkers yesterday.
Major clean up along 11, 17 and 16. Opening up the views of the river.

Manderley has really nice greens right now. Roll perfect and good speed. Fairways a very wet, no surprise with the rain we had last night.

Played Greensmere yesterday , course is in fair shape (premier) , although the back nine is definitely in better shape than the front , although I shot a 37 on the front .... Go figure
At the end of the day ... It gets dark

Played Champlain yesterday. Course is disaster....drenched and 50% of the greens are completely destroyed with something - winterkill? fungus? This one will take awhile to dry out and come back into some playable shape....

Was the green fee priced accordingly? $20-$25(and $25 is a little high) would be fair - more than that they should not even open the doors with those conditions and charge full price
- the best thing about Champlain is it's location

Champlain never changes and maybe in this world that's not a bad thing !

Played Prescott for the first time yesterday, nice little course and a short drive out from Barrhaven. @ $22 on RM this may be our go to spot when we're not playing Stonebridge.

Just back from Cloverdale. Front nine is wet while only a couple holes on the back are; not much roll though. Most greens have some winter kills but none as bad as 16 and 17; although it seems that they have been cut, they are quite slow. It'll take time for 17 to come back. Charging full price which doesn't give a good bang for the bucks.

Played the Marshes today..Course is dry, no mushy or wet spots anywhere. Carts were allowed anywhere on the fairways. The majority of greens were brown, but were quick and rolled true.(A lot quicker than I expected for this time of year). Paid full rate of 120. + tax, but received a coupon to play again for free until May17th. All in all course was very playable and the free replay is worth it.
