Swapping shafts from TM to Titleist adapter?

I have an R9 driver shaft that I would like to try in my new 910 head. Is it as straight forward as pulling the TM adapter and installing the new Titleist adapter? Will I need to trim anything? I assume that it is that simple, but I have been wrong before.
    Thanks

It can be just that simple. If the weight of the two shafts are close (+/-1g), chances are they will swing-weight out fine without the need to adjust. That being said, if one is lighter or heavier, Titleist sells additional weights for their drivers specifically for swing-weighting. As for trimming, the shafts should have been done prior to their original install and therefore should not need anything extra done.

Thanks, that makes sense. I will put the two shafts on the scale and see how they match.
