    I've been using GolfShot for a few years - it's a one-time $35 purchase and has all the courses I play except perhaps Crowbush on PEI. It works well and won't kill your battery provided you set the phone settings as advised by www.golfshot.com. One thing I've noticed is that sometimes you'll know that a yardage reading is a bit off - it will recalibrate in a few seconds and give you the accurate yardage though. For thrift without having to carry another device, I love this app. I carry the iPhone in an otherwise empty & padded pocket in my Sun Mountain bag.

    I also have Golfshot , and it works just fine.
    It takes about 20 secs to zero in , so you just have to be prepared to turn it on before you get to your ball.
    I've used it for about 2 seasons , and its got most of the courses in the area.
    At the end of the day ... It gets dark

    Another A+++++ vote for Golfshot. This combined with my Bushnell Tour v3 is the perfect match!

    With Golfshot, I also love never needing to take a score card, and having a nice completed scorecard automatically emailed to me after each round to save. Excellent and highly recommended!

    I've had great success with GolfLogix in Ottawa area courses.
    Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!
