Thumbs up Practice your putting at home.

Look at what I made. Well actually, my father in law made it but I designed
it. It’s made out of solid “good one side” plywood. It’s 8 feet long and
about 16” wide. Perfect to practice a 6-foot putt. The side box is for
stepping on cause the putting green needs to be as compact as possible and
the weight would make the ball break. I made the hole at 3 inches (standard
cup size is 4 inches) and there is a return pipe to bring the ball back.
There is a pool table like carpet and the ball roles at about 9 or 10. It
cost me about 90$ to build.

You line it up against a wall and it makes for a perfect practice area.

If anyone is interested in having one I can make one for you for 100$.

PS: Putting arc and ball not included.

No, why? The box is setup for a right-handed player. The step box is removable so that you can putt on the right or the left and you can also bring it closer to the hole if you want to practice shorter putts.

I also shim the sides to give it a break from one side or the other. It makes practicing fun. It’s pretty close to the real thing.

My two year old loves to putt on it.

Nicely done. It great to have training aid that works, but it is must also be very satisfying to have designed and constructed it yourself (with a little help).

Don't suppose you have photos of your putting green, thinking about a similar build project or buying the following http://66.38.213.138/SITES/obj_album...I=&M=305&ID=74

I’ll post some pics tonight. I’ll sell you mine for $50. I don’t use it anymore cause with two kids, toys and everything in the basement, I don’t have the time and nor the space for it anymore.

Like I said, I’ll post new pics tonight. PM me if interested.

I have gotten a few PM for this. Please be patent guys, I did not have time to take new pics. I’m too busy with Holloween, the kids and all. Pics will come soon.

Nobody can see the original pics because the site was changed since I posted them. Most if not all old pics were distorted.

Thanks for your patience. Pics on the way hopefully before the weekend.

Pics added. In the first image you can see where the ball comes out. In the second image you can see the hole. Total length is 8 feet long, 17 inches wide not counting the step on box. The hole is 3.5 inches, smaller then the conventional hole. Practicing with a smaller hole will make the regular hole feel like a manhole.
