Just moved back to Eastern Ontario
Originally from Brockville.
Spent the last 30ish years in Waterloo.
Last fall built a house in Kingston and moved.
Will be playing around the area.
Used a very cool golf league scoring and admin system at my home club in Waterloo (Elmira Golf Course) and am working on introducing it to Eastern Ontario.Make your golf leagues GREAT with the "golfscoring" league system: LIVE scoring on your lounge TV, handicapping & lots of other features. PM me to learn more.

I used to play Elmira a lot when I was younger as I grew up in Kitchener. Great course with a lot of fond memories. Where are you playing in Kingston (I lived there before Kitchener LOL). My dad was a member at Cataraqui and Glen Lawrence and was a member at Galt in Cambridge.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Thanks for saying "Hi" Jeff.
I played Elmira for about a dozen years. Really liked all the changes in elevation as well as the guys there. I am going to play at Cataraqui but unfortunately am on the waiting list and unlikely I will get off it until late in the year at best. So I'll play around this year.
I like the layout at Glen Lawrence but it is a bit rough for my tastes. Membership fee there is crazy low and they have a 3 year waiting list. Will probably play it a few times. Colonnade and Garrison are pretty close for me so I'll have a few rounds there too. Will do Smugglers Glen as well.
I will be playing Amherstview on Tuesdays for their Mens Day. They'll be using our league scoring and management system (golfscoring.net) this year and as my first client in Eastern Ontario I offered to run it for them (not that its hard by any means)

Glen Lawrence was where I first played the game, some good memories but I agree its a little rough, or at least was a long time ago. Where else did you play in KW? I'm a big fan of Grey Silo, Rebel Creek, Guelph Lakes to name a few.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I didn't play around too much (I'm a bit on the cheap side!), but it sounds like we have a bit different tastes in courses! I prefer parkland style. Grey Silo is nice. Not a fan of the Rebel Creek (well maintained and great clubhouse but the layout leaves a lot to be desired IMHO).

Rebel Creek is not everyone's cup of tea but I enjoy it.
