The driver distance and the balance.
Recently I couldn't understand one issue after watched the Ford open
last week. Tiger Woods hit one drive like 365 yards. I noticed his balance
was off a lot. It means that you don't need keep the balance after follow
through to achieve the longest drive distance. I am not sure if my
thought is right or not.
I used to think the golfers need the good balance for hitting the ball longer.

Balance is for consistency more then distance.
Did you notice that Tiger is less aggressive hitting his drives and he still hits it long.Strive for perfection, but never expect it!

Geez, he sure didn't look less aggressive last weekend. He was swinging out of his shoes every time he had the driver in his hand. And it was working...

Tiger will always be aggressive hitting the ball off the deck but he was allot smother and controlled on his downswing compared to the last couple of years.
Strive for perfection, but never expect it!
