Intech Golf Balls
Does anyone have any experience with Intech golf balls? Loads of seniors were using them in Florida. Quite inexpensive, performed well, and the rage of the "gated communities" golfers.

I think that the appeal of these is 18 packs for under $10...reviews are generally positive, but thin cover means difficult to putt with...

I thought at one point these were sold at Canadian Tire and were non-conforming?

The Intech titanium Hot are non conforming but I believe their other balls are legal play balls.

I use the Intech Limbo in the spring and fall. Inexpensive soft-compression ball that performs well. Canadian Tire sells them at $10 for a box of 15.

Intech golf balls are non conforming.... basically illegal. They are smaller than regular balls....
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

I went to the USGA web-site and, in fact, Intech is not listed as a "conforming golf ball" or in other words it is non-conforming. This makes it even more intriguing.

Calling all non conformists!!! My friend uses them, he has severe mobility issues and these balls help him out greatly. He does not carry a golf HC so its all good.

Not true. Found this on another golf forum:
You got me thinking. I was sure I read that the Limbo was conforming but not submitted for USGA approval.
So I called King Par and they confirmed that the Limbo is indeed conforming, but never submitted to the USGA because they didn't want to spend the money to have a low priced recreational ball tested.
The guy I spoke with also confirmed that the Intech HOT was the only illegal ball they offer.
It is not unusual for manufacturers to not submit their golf clubs and balls to the USGA for testing. Testing costs money, and is only useful if you expect your products to be used in official competitions.

I can't play them. They are slightly smaller and keep falling through my ball retriever when I try to rescue those oft errant shots.
