I've golfed in March the last 2 years, last year was in 30 something degree weather at Prescott and the year before it was in 5-6 degree weather on the 31st at Calabogie with snow still around the edges of the fairway . . . really hoping for a repeat of last year

Come on Prescott! I have new shafts for my irons I want to try out on the course.

Jonathan, if Prescott is anything like last year, it will be ideal conditions to break in those sweet shafts.

Thanks for jinxing us. The monthlong Accuweather doesn't look good right to the end of it's forecast! Might be mid April before golf starts here.

February 21 - The Preserve at Tara, Sarasota Florida - 80* and sunny

February 22 - The Meadows, Sarasota Floriday - 81* and sunny

HAHA, My golfing in March last year involved rain / sleet and some snow, as we picked probably the coldest day once the season opened up. Still a good time while the other half was at her bachelorette party.

I figured it out, last season I didn't buy any new clubs from end of 2011 golf to beginning of 2012 golf . . . this year I bought 5 new clubs . . hence the delay.

March golf is but a memory and until then this picture will be the only thing we can hope for. I will be happy to get out in late April when I return from New Orleans. The pic was taken on March 18th last year and our own Colby is enjoying a burger at the turn at Mapleview in Renfrew.

Playing Palmetto Dunes tomorrow

--it's a little on the chilly side but the fairways are great and the greens are running extremely fast
