Anybody know of a few good cash scrambles that aren't too long of a drive? Let's say 3 or so hours from Ottawa. No net junk...

Our Scramble has changed a bit. I am open minded and willing to listen to suggestions so with that in mind, Lunch and Cart are NOT INCLUDED. The cost is now as follows:

Our 3 man $ scramble Oct 19th The cost is $130 for non members/ $110 for members. And all $110 per man will go to prizes. Carts extra. The course is taking 0% of the pot (other than a $20 green fee)! If you have a team let us know!

not sure which Dough Head up at Whitetail started spreading rumors about it not happening, but just wanted to confirm that the 3 Man Scramble at Arnprior Oct 19th is still ON!! A few more teams were formed at the BCC Open! Bring your drivers little ones!

Just curious... In a cash event like this, how do the groups work? Do two teams of 3 play together? How do you ensure nobody is cheating? I'm not accusing people of it, I love the format but just wondered how things are handled...

Two man scramble at Morrisburg next Saturday 28th. Add up to min of 20 index as a team. Cost is 100 per team. There is also a Calcutta day of the event. Payouts are usually pretty nice.

Interested in playing in the Arnprior scramble if anyone is looking to get a team together.

As brought to the attention of the boards, The AGC is about to Rebuild the 3rd Green, which is a par 5. For the Scramble we have put a plan in place that will actually add to the fun.

We are going to have a Shotgun start (time to be confirmed soon) We will start all Groups (2 teams of 3 together) all on the back 9 from holes 11 to 18. The 3rd hole will not be in play but we will Tee off on the RED TEES and the hole will become a long Drive Contest! Upon the completion of your round, we will all finish around or need to pass the 18th and we will play the 18th hole again to replace the 3rd hole. With a Shot Gun we should all be getting there roughly the same time so the hole will be played with a gallery both on the tee and the green.

Many of those that have heard this plan have thought this will add a great amount of fun to the event and I would not be surprised to see some trash talk happening on 18 the second time through.
