If you have a VPN server if you give me credentials i can try to connect to you. Otherwise i can send you the VPN software. it's free and we can try it. i might be free tonight or tomorrow night for anyone who wants to at least give it a try. I just played 18 so im done swinging for the most part, but we can try to connect and see if it works just to see if we can do this.

Send me a private message with your email address and your contact info and i'll send you the info. I am going to be pretty busy on Wednesday night, but I could take 15 mins to test this. Won't be able to play a round though as I am leaving for a few days to go on a golf trip.

Please let me know if anyone needs help here on this. Offering my services. I am ordering the GC2 this week so i would like to see if we can resolve this. Simple VPN should work just fine as long as you have an any any rule for the tunnel. I would NOT lock down the vpn traffic ATM as i wouldn't trust the ports foresight is saying yet.
Also i have a Tunngle Premium Account which my friends and i use to play old school lan games over the internet.
I can not see how this wouldn't work also

There are ways to forward broadcasts. A simple tcpdump or wireshark should shed light on what they are doing.

I agree here it should be easy to figure out what GC2 is doing here, but it will be weeks i am guessing(just ordered everything today from Cory) before i get my unit and setup complete.
Like i said if GC2 software is doing an IP based broadcast, then Tungle should work!! If it is doing netbios then all is for naught. Each user would just set their tungle Port of their F/W and client and it should connect to a tungle room. This is how we do it on old school games and it works like a champ. What this doesn't take into consideration of what is transferred during a game. No idea how much bandwith is needed to make actual game playable.
