Dome Golf
Just wondering if anyone can comment on the superdome (east Vs west) experience?
Never tried it out - is one longer/better than the other?

The one in the west is about 60 yards. Great for practicing wedges, and long enough for longer clubs to show ball flight tendencies. Good for practice.
Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.

Have a membership at the west end Superdome. I have found that it's an excellent facility to hone your swing or perfect your faults. It is long enough to let you know where the ball will end up.
BTW: The Superdome is now open and there is NO CHARGE for hitting balls this week, Dec. 3 - 6 .

Both domes are the same size and layout, but the east dome is less crowded. Not so much an issue at this time of year though...
Good practice facilities with plenty of room to see your ball flight, though I could definitely use a few more yards in height for my wedges. YMMD.

A dome keeps your swing fresh, I took lessons in the east end dome with Marc Levac a couple of years in a row and it made a world of difference come spring time. I think what made such a difference was having something to work on instead of constantly hitting balls.

I've been to the east end several times---3 minutes from home ---great practice facility and really gives you a picture of ball flight. 10.00 for half hour-nothing wrong with that.
Does the 2nd hole-n-one come easier ?

went to the east location last week. All in all pretty good, though the biggest downside is the balls and the roof of the dome are both white which makes tracking the ball of your club incredibly difficult.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Do you normally take a breath in when you swing down? or is that not intentional?

the exact same thing he noticed with my swing without a video, your right knee and right hip rotate too much over the ball which causes the club to come from over the top slightly as opposed to staying in the slot. He said pros keep their right hip and shoulder inside the ball not over the ball like we do. What he made me do is have the feeling im pushing my right knee to the inside of my left knee, not outside, it does go to the outside eventually but is much more controlled and balanced, we over rotate and rotate too quickly. I saw and felt immediate results with a much straighter./piercing ball flight with much better balance
