    Divot repair tool

I just wanted to put a good word for this divot repair tool I bought at Stonebridge pro shop. Small, lightweight, good on hard greens, and it only cost $1!!!! I think they're called Golfmax Divvy Golf Divot Tool. After trying everything from expensive repair tools to using a regular tee, I think this is the best thing for fixing divots. Stocking up on these this winter.

I personally think Scotty Cameron nailed it with his but these look good as well. Plus the pink will match your bag pablo.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I was curious about the Scotty tool as I have not seen one before. One thing I notice it that it appears to be designed to "lift" the ball mark as opposed to pushing it back together.

I know this has been a subject of discussion for some time, but I'm under the belief that "lifting" the ball mark causes root damage and the grass in that area to possibly die. Working the grass inwards towards the ball mark fixes the dent, but keeps the root system intact.

here's the scotty tools...I use them properly to push the grass back to the middle rather than lift.

I use the Scotty tool as well and have no problems pushing the grass back either. The only thing I notice is that the prongs that go into the grass are quite wide compared to some other tools.

or my Pinehurst US Open tool.

Can you buy the Scotty Cameron divot tool locally or do you have to order from his shop?
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

GT used to carry them but that was many years ago. Post a "Looking for" ad and someone here probably has an extra one kicking around.

I converted. It has replaced my Scotty repair tool. The blades are super sharp and I have not gotten tired of flicking it out (my playing partners feelings may differ).
Gimmie: agreement to concede short putts between 2 golfers, neither of which can putt very well.
