    So, I heard a rumour that there is a catch to these "free" greens fees at the Golf Show. One free green fee when you book with 3 others who pay. Anbody know if this is true or not?

    I dropped by after work yesterday and it was not very busy(as expected for Friday evening). You get the following goodies:

    Free green fees to Mt. Cascades, Mont Ste-Marie and Smuggler's Glen...all with date restrictions.

    The Edelweiss, Emerald Links and Mont Ste-Marie booths are giving away 2 for 1 coupons. T&L is offering TM, Nike and Adams clubs to hit. I purchased some Super Dunlop LoCo balls for $17.99 dozen. The Golfer Red Books are selling for $32. Overall, it was the same as last year as far as content goes...maybe a little less. They had a get-fit for golf seminar and I think only 8 people were attending. I'm sure the good seminars are saved for the weekend.
    I got to finally meet Dan at the OttawaGolf.com booth which was great.

    I would've appreciated seeing more clubs to be demoed at the ''driving range''. I tried the CG1s and the WS fi5. Nice irons, but where were the Mizunos!
