LOL. That's not a bad idea. With my luck, I'll end up losing money!
Need to save more money for the FS base. It also doesn't help when I'm playing the Protee online all the time.

I found the thread where Cory talked about spin data;
http://forum.OttawaGolf.com/showthre...236#post462236
He said spin used in BALL FLIGHT. So yes spin NOT used on the green. Useless piece of entertainment software. Don't buy CG3! ( in my opinion of course)
Spent the $ and get FS base pack. You will not regret it.

Interesting idea indeed. The Protee can actually display advertising during play. Hmm......
Btw, aren't you a little harsh on the CG3? It's got accurate ball flight and those birds are pretty cool. I also like the cross hairs with the flaming tails...

My son has a hunting game for the PS move and if I could put that shotgun in my golfbag and use it on those balloons and birds I would call that entertainment.

Help question for anyone using the Creative Golf 3d with the GC2. Can anyone tell me what the deflection yardage is when hiting golf balls on the driving range. Is that ball movement from side to side on a ball hit?

If you mean does spin determine shot shape......yes. Just not roll on green in my opinion.

Hey All,
You can run the Basic software without a dongle and it will operate as a demo version. It will not offer every option but will open in order to allow you to see how it all works. I suggest going to the driving range, hit the space bar and enter the numbers to see the results

Just a quick note that you cannot run the GC2 on bluetooth in the Creative Golf 3D (Entertainment) software. ONLY the Performance software.

Bluetooth
Thanks for the info Cory. I tried to get my bluetooth to work when I first got my setup. I gave up but just started to try again a few days ago. At least now I will not have to waste my time and sanity. Hopefully they will fix this in a future software update.

You are very welcome.
I will keep bugging them to make it happen (although it doesn't seem to help as I have been bugging them for years to integrate with e6 LOL)

I really think the graphics are bad on the FS software. Even on the highest setting it's bad...
It doesn't look anything like what I see in the still shots while in the menu. Am I missing something?
Haven't gotten the chance to play with gc3 yet. But based on what I am seeing I might make the switch and get the FS software instead?

CPA, I was about to get the CG3 software. But then after reading these posts. You have convinced me that the red chain software is better for game improvement.
So I currently have the red chain software
The graphics on the red chain software are so bad.
I am going to take some pics and post.
Can you take some pics of your graphics on the redchain and post?
I swear it has to look better than this... I would almost say it looks Nintendo 8 bit like...

What projector do you have? Throw distance, screen size?
Have you set projector as the screen by right click in Windows?
Then set FS settings at HD.

Hey guys. Figured it out.
I had the simulator setup tool set to a screen that was 2ft x 4 ft.... Don't know why I would do that... I just did.
Totally distorted the image!
End user FAIL!!!
On max setting the game runs amazing and the graphics look great!
Thanks for your help guys!
