Fall Conditions

We waited until the last minute to book for yesterday and were left with very few choices. Decided on Royal Papineau and glad we did. Course was in excellent condition and almost no leaves to be seen. The best part was $25 per person with cart. Price and conditions couldn't be beat....Great Day!.

We played Cobden yesterday---what a treat--excellent conditions---the leaves had been blown off the complete course and they are probably closing today or tomorrow.

Played Talon at Greyhawk - first group out, done in 3 hours (threesome) and the weather was great - 10 degrees, no wind, and the course was in great shape. I love fall golf!

Marshes Golf Club is going to Open Sunday Nov 11th and Monday Nov 12th, tee times 10 am to 12:30 pm, $55 plus taxes for golf and cart. A great surprise!

Played Gatineau this week and greens had not been punched but i'm thinking its just a matter of days if its not already done.Best call to find out either way.

Played Gatineau today and was very impressed with the conditions for November. Greens were nice but hard. It was difficult to attack pins cause the ball wasn't holding not matter how much spin you put on it. It took me a couple of holes to adjust, especially for the chips.....it seemed liked the ball skid across the green! All an all, for November, it was great!

Hammond conditions are excellent for Nov. Greens were slow but beautifull and receptive. fairways nice and lush.

26$ at Emerald Links this morning and the course was in awesome shape! Greens were a little slow but still very playable... too bad it closes after today!

Hard to believe but Pineview was okay to play. The fairways had grass and the greens were certainly playable.

Played the Canadian yesterday---great day --great conditions---word is they are closing on the 15th.

Now I guess we wait for "pig of the year results" as if there will be any change

Still plugging away. Kingsway yesterday was o.k. Greens punched but fairways wet at some spots,normal conditions.

Not sure if they are still open but I heard from someone at Champlain on Monday that Gatineau has gone to an 11am shotgun start.
