Played at Mississippi yesterday and thought it was a great value for $25. The course is in good shape and the greens are in great-quick and true.

I played there too yesterday, 9:30 tee time, 4 hour round. When I was leaving at 1:30, the parking lot was packed and people were piling in there. No surprise the rounds got longer. I think the splits in the a.m. were pretty tight...
And whoever did the pin placements was bitter about something in the morning. Or I could have just totally been in the wrong spot all day.

It was like that Thanksgiving Monday when I played there, insane, I was on in front in 3 and ended up with a 7, I chipped on and was 20 feet above the hole, on the putt coming back my ball rolled off the green by 25 feet, the rest was history and I was ** after that and cursing the pin placements. All the pin placements that day were stupid hard, quite sad.
Obviously you're not a golfer.

In the last few comments there are two courses being discussed. The bad pins are not really clear on which course it was.

For those of you who played the Gatineau lately, did they have any fall specials or did you have to pay summer rates? Curious as I might head out for a round over the weekend....weather permitting.

A few weeks back the lady at the Gatineau pro shop did say they were going to fall rates. Don't remember the actual price but it seemed like a good deal.

Played Oaks of Cobden today. Suffice it to say...absolutely perfect conditions. A beautiful fall day in the Ottawa Valley surrounded by beautiful fall colours, turkeys all over the course and a rainbow on the way home to boot! It doesn't get much better than that for late October. They're closing next Saturday...to bad...would love to have the privilege of doing it all over again!

Played Greyhawk Talon today, a little wet in some places (the usual spots) and some of the fairways were punched, but the greens were true and fast and the leaves had been blown off the fairways/rough, so it was in good shape overall.

equinelle was in great shape on saturday. They said that they would stay open until the end of the month for sure but take it day by day after that.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Played Emerald Links today, W/E.
Very good condition and greens fastest I've seen this year.
At $27 + lunch, I never sausage a deal."All I need to know about life, I learned from my dog".

I was really shocked Loch March was charging $70 till noon yesterday, the course was in good shape and all but just really shocked.
I could have played 2 rounds at Stonebridge for that price. The only reason we decided on there was because of the GC's left to use
