Hydraulics, huh? That's interesting.

I guess he totally throws out the fact that Duval had, and may still be struggling with, vertigo. Pretty hard to take it back when the world is spinning.

Any teacher that thinks they have the answer, and hasn't even seen the student swing the club in person, is spouting a load of crap (in my opinion, of course)...

Evershed really misses the point. Admittedly the golf swing is critically important. But one must have confidence in that swing. David D appears to me to have lost that confidence. Equally important, if not more so, is that competitive golf is about scoring. You don't have to be pretty doing it. Just get it in the hole in the fewest number of strokes. DD is not doing that either. I hope to see him return to his old form, but he's not there yet.

Too often instructors, and dare I say it people on this forum, emphasize the full-swing mechanics at the expense of the short game (including putting)...just get it in the hole already!
