P3ProSwing Putting Shark?
I just noticed this mentioned in an old thread. Has anyone here used one of these?
It looks interesting, but other than the product description and a couple of commercial reviews in trade magazines, I haven't found any "real world" evaluations on it.

I don't think this is a great idea. Perhaps Chasiv can shed sone light on its progress and worth.

Thanks bubba22, there sure isn't much information available about it. I'd never heard of it until I noticed in the other night while looking for something else - lol

I started a thread on this way back when and it got no response. http://forum.ottawagolf.com/showthre...1-PuttingShark I am not sure how well this product has done. At that price, just get an Optishot and practice the putting with it!!

Thanks bubba22, I'm actually leaning more toward having a "putting area" setup in my building, since I'll have enough room to have an effective length of roughly 18 feet diagonal to work with. I'm still researching putting surfaces and want to be able to have some adjustable breaks to play with =|;-)

Putting Shark
Hi folks,
Sorry for the slow reply, but I simply do not visit here as often as I did when I was in Technical Support.
The Putting Shark is simply a 'Putting Only' version of the P3ProSwing. It has the same swing analysis software (Practice Green & Green Game are the only available options) and just a more limited use.
If you simply want to practice your putting and get accurate swing analysis, the Putting Shark is for you. If you want to use more than your putter - then you need to step up to a regular P3ProSwing.
If you're in between, I recommend you go to a regular P3ProSwing as the Putting Shark is not upgradeable.
Hope that clarifies.
Chuck

Putting Shark Sales
Bubba,
They are indeed selling. We don't sell a TON of them, but they do sell. It was targeted for the office executive who wants to work on his putting game during lunch or for those that do not have a high enough ceiling to work on their entire golf game.
Putting is a HUGE part of golf and most folks loose strokes in putting, so it does have its own market. We even have customers who have purchased both (one for home and one for work).

I do like the idea of the putting shark, but you might as well get the Pro system and have the best of both worlds (that way you can putt at the office and play the sim at home when the wife and kids are sleeping )
