Camping cooler
Anyone know where to buy a good cooler locally? The wife wants to upgrade Coleman from CanTire (which I thought works fine). There's a Yeti cooler which appearantly designed to keep your stuffs cold for several days but only available from the US and somewhat pricey!
LMK.. thks

I have the Coleman 5-day cooler from CT. Not sure why you'd want something more. If everything goes in frozen you'll still have to thaw what you want to eat 3 days later.
There's a massive difference in performance between the cheap coleman and the 5-day.

I've successfully conveyed that message to the wife, and I THINK we'll be getting a Coleman Extreme.. we camp enough but not to justify to have a really pricey Cadillac version of cooler that passes Grizzly bear test!? Let's just hope she won't use the same lines when I visit Golftown. ;-)

To improve your cooler's performance... block ice not cubes; put food in frozen, beer/wine pre-chilled; limit open/closing; and gel packs work well for longer cooling times.
