    (Relatively) cheap golf in Florida?

    hi all,

    This is kinda an emergency..........

I'm in desperate need of a vacation. As such, I'm leaving for Florida, specifically Orlando, next next Monday (28th). It's last minute. Looking for some decent but relatively cheap golf courses to play at. I'm no pro (just started playing last year) but I'm hooked (and hooking my shots! grrr ).

    Any suggestions?

yep, saw that just after posting this thread. but it seems to list Miami area courses. not Orlando. so far, my googling has come up with mostly $100+ courses. too rich for my blood!

Check out the twilight rates (after 2pm at Disney)

If you were going to be around the Jacksonville area I could give you plenty of good inexpensive courses to try.. could even meet and play..

Reservation Masters USA covers the area from Vero Beach to Miami in Florida. We are not in Orlando yet. Maybe next year.?!

    thanks for the replies everybody!

plans have changed once again. i'm now staying in Tampa in hopes of getting more access to cheaper golf (Orlando just seemed way too expensive). looks like cheaper public courses out there!

    Try www.teetimesusa.com

I've used them several times with great results in Orlando.
